A New Concept In Care

We are a small family run live in care agency with one promise . . .
your care.

About us

I have worked in care, both in the UK and France for ten years, and have realised that large care agencies simply do not work! Clients become numbers and individuality is lost. This was the reason that I decided, alongside with my daughter Andree, to open KD care, a bespoke live in care service for the elderly.

KD Care are CQC accredited
(Care Quality Commision)

We Work with You and Your Family So Your Loved Ones Continue Living in Their Home Even When Unaccompanied or When a Family Carer Is Away!

KD Care is the true alternative to a residential care home – complete with a CQC-regulated and entirely managed live-in care package, custom-made to match your own care requirements.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

We feel that well-paid, happy staff are essential to your needs, and this is often why large agencies fail, as their employees are underpaid and overworked. This doesn’t happen with us!

Here’s what makes us stand out from other live-in care agencies:

  • Our staff and clients become part of our family.
  • We always match our personal assistants to our clients.
  • We take into consideration not only our clients’ physical and emotional needs but also their lifestyle and character.
  • If we feel we can’t take responsibility for a client, we’ll help them find an alternative solution.
  • If you call us, you’ll always speak to Karen or her daughter, Andree, rather than another, unknown staff member.
  • We love to know our clients personally, so either Karen or Andree will visit you in your home instead of our office staff.
  • We’ll discuss your needs and offer you a package, tailored to your wishes.
  • We’ll visit you every 10 weeks to make sure you’re happy.

When you ring KD care you will always speak to my daughter or myself. We feel that office staff are employed to run an office, not to deal with a client’s concerns and we like to know all our clients personally. We will be the ones who visit you in your home to discuss your needs, offer you a package tailored to your wishes and we will also visit you every ten weeks to ensure that you are happy.

All your needs and wishes will be fully catered to by us, personal live in care UK, specialised care, dietary needs (all our personal assistants can provide good wholesome English menus) house work, shopping, animal care and of course excellent companionship (all personal assistants speak perfect English). We believe that when a client chooses to continue living in their own home in the latter years of their life, that their personal assistant must be an unobtrusive visitor ready to cope with all events, but able to fade into the background when necessary. In other words, our clients are always in charge of their homes and lives, as far as possible.Prices start from £775 per week.

We care for you as we would and have done, for our own family.
